Allure conservatory system is the customer's choice
Customers uninspired by so many similar PVC-U conservatories are not prepared to settle for a make-do purchase. But Chase Window Company is finding that by offering the aluminium Allure conservatory system, exclusively manufactured by QRS, it's able to tempt an increasing number into investing in an altogether different conservatory.
Gary Woodhatch, Director of Chase Window Company, explains: "When visiting potential customers we like to give them a range of options. This helps us reach those who have already turned down other installers offering standard products. But not only are we reaching those who wanted something special, ever since we've offered Allure it's become the preferred option for most of our customers. Being able to compete with the premium range of conservatories on looks and quality but also offering the ease of installation that comes with it being based on the market leading Global roof is giving us a real edge. And all of this is at a price which the customer appreciates is great value for money."
David Tulett has a design company in London and recently had an Allure conservatory installed by Chase. "As a Designer I was very exacting about the look I wanted so I invited three installers to show me their selection of conservatory roofs. As soon as I saw the Allure system I knew it would match perfectly. The conservatory had to incorporate existing features from the house but Chase's installation team worked hard to ensure it wasn't problem. The result is stunning. I would certainly recommend both Chase Window Company and Allure to anyone."
QRS to do Great North Run!
Quality Roofing Systems are continuing in their tradition by entering into the Great North Run to be held later this year.
Taking part in this years world's biggest half marathon, the BUPA Great North Run, for the second time, is an apprehensive Kim English, 24, from Hartlepool, receptionist and administrator at QRS.
The Great North Run is a half marathon that takes place in October each year raising money for a number of charities on a local, national and worldwide stage. This year it celebrates its 26th anniversary, hoping to attract even more participants and spectators to join in the fun.
With a gruelling distance that totals 13.1 miles/21 kilometres, the half marathon starts in Newcastle and finishes in South Shields.
The event is being held on October 1st 2006 and Kim will be taking part in aid to help raise money for the well deserved Butterwick Hospice, which is a charity especially close to Kim's heart.
Kim spoke of her delight at taking part in the event: "After having taken part in last year's marathon and enjoying every moment of it, I decided to put my name forward for this year.
Due to a background of cancer sufferers within my family, I get a great sense of personal achievement from being involved in such a big charity event which raises money for these crucial causes. I feel that by taking part I will be giving something back and helping those who are in greater need".
Kim is beginning to get in shape for the event later this year which involves a lot of training, hard work, stamina and determination.
With the backing from her co workers at QRS and her family she is sure to raise a lot of money for her chosen cause.
QRS invests £900,000
Quality Roofing Systems, QRS, is set to double its work force over the next 18 months following its £900,000 relocation to brand new 16,000sq ft purpose built premises on a flag ship business park in Hartlepool. Established in 1999 by current directors David and Elaine Buttery, QRS' turnover of £2.6 million in 2004 is on target to double by the end of 2005.
QRS Director Dave Buttery explains the move: "Since switching to Synseal in 2004, we have enjoyed fast growth across our national trade customer base for both the Global roof, and our own exclusive aluminium powder coating roof system Allure, developed in conjunction with Synseal. As a conservatory roof fabricator at the quality end of the market, we needed a top quality manufacturing facility to match, and space to grow even more. The £900,000 investment will allow us to do just this.
Nick Dutton congratulates QRS: "It's fantastic to see quality companies like QRS investing in the future, especially at a time when less forward thinking firms are battening down the hatches and finding it hard to grow. The winners will be firms like QRS who tool up for growth and offer something a little bit different like the Allure system."
QRS choose Global
"Quality Roofing Systems is a BBA Accredited conservatory roof fabricator at the quality end of the market" explains QRS Company Director Dave Buttery. "We initially fabricated the Quantal Roof and the K2 Roofing System both to BBA Accredited fabricator status. A few months ago the decision to replace K2 with Global was taken.
"I must say we are impressed by the Global Roof and by Synseal, it is a fantastic system. It's extremely fabricator and fitter friendly and Synseal are a very focused and passionate company who constantly listen to customers, look for improvements and get the job done.
"Working in conjunction with Synseal, QRS have put considerable investment into our new "Allure" aluminium powder coated roofing system which was launched at Glassex 2004, with a fantastic response. The aluminium finial, cresting, radius end cover and polycarbonate end closure are unique to QRS.
"It was definitely the right move for QRS, as increased orders show that both "Allure" and "Global" are favoured by fitters for ease of assembly, reduced installation time and minimum disruption for the end customer.
"Things are going very well and we have hired Henry Inglis as Sales Director. Henry is well known in the industry and has recruited two extra sales executives to support our momentum throughout the QRS chooses Global
